We all know that a book is "judged by its cover" and considering that your book has only a few seconds to grab the attention of a prospective buyer, a dynamic cover is imperative for your new book.
A professionally designed interior shows your reader that you care about your work and, more importantly, that you care about them. A sharp, easy to read font and superior printing will draw the line between a professionally produced book and one of inferior quality.
Unfortunately, many authors fail to realize the importance of having their work properly edited. They may have an eye-stopping cover, an attractive interior; however, if the story does not read as well as it could, all the attractive design in the world cannot compensate for the lack of a properly edited manuscript. Even experienced editors should not edit their own work. They simply do not see those horrid gremlins that seem to multiply during the night while we are sleeping. We look at our work too much and because we know what we mean to say, we assume that the reader will know also. Nothing could be further from the truth.
